A car with drop, both driving on a road and makes short flights to limited speed, has been developed by MIT alumni and successfully tested earlier this month. The car airplane, called Transition, has a 100 horsepower engine and spends 7.83 liter unleaded per 100 km on the highway. It has a range of 725 kilometers at an average speed of 185 km flight per hour. It can become car or plane in 30 seconds. To drive it does not take a pilot, but receive additional training to the driving license. It is not the first flying car in history, but the most sophisticated, yet still just a prototype.
